We offer our customer self-drive Car Rental options for drivers above 23 years old that hold a valid credit card and driver license.


A.   RATES

    

      All rates are quoted in local currency, which includes:-


  • Unlimited Kilometers usage.

  • Full maintenance (all mechanical repairs and change of parts including tires are subject to fair wear-and-tear and at the discretion of our Car Rental partner). Renter will be responsible to have the engine oil, battery and radiator water checked once a week by the petrol station attendant when refilling petrol. Should engine oil or battery water be needed to refill, our Car Rental partner will reimburse the amount - provided cash receipt is presented. Otherwise call our Car Rental partner to inform on the shortage of engine oil and verify whether vehicle is due for servicing.

  • Gasoline

B.  VEHICLE INSURANCE


Rates include insurance coverage of car damage. However insurance is claimable only when the damage exceed monthly rental amount. Renter is obliged to promptly report any accident, theft or vandalism involving the rented vehicle to Car For U Enterprise. Failure to comply with the procedure may void the liability protection. 


C.  PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE


Car For U Enterprise renter and passenger may arrange Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) waiver, which provides coverage up to RM 10,000 at RM 7 per day. However the amount may vary according to customer need.


D.  ACCIDENT, THEFT AND VANDALISM


  • Renter must, where possible, report any traffic accident, loss, damage or theft involving the vehicle to the police immediately and to us within twelve (12) hours of the incident or discovery of the incident.

  •  Renter must not admit any liability, release any party from liability, settle any claim or accept any disclaimer in the event of an accident, but should take the names, national identity/passport numbers and addresses of everyone involved, including witnesses.

  • Renter agrees to co-operate with us and our insurers in any investigation or subsequent legal proceedings arising out of any loss of or damage to the vehicle.


E. RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES/LIABILITIES

  • Renter will be liable to us for all reasonable losses and costs incurred by us in the event of loss, damage to or theft of the vehicle, its parts or accessories while on rental. Rental liability may include the cost of repairs, loss in value of the vehicle, loss of rental income, towing and storage charges and an administration charge, which recovers Car For U Enterprise costs for handling any claim arising from damage caused to the vehicle unless responsibility for the damage lies with us or has been determined by a third party or their insurers to lie with the third party. If, in our judgment, any damage makes the vehicle unfit for rental, we will endeavor to repair the vehicle as soon as possible. Renter will not be liable to us for any charge or excess if the loss or damage is directly due to our negligence or breach of this Rental Agreement.

  • Renter is fully responsible for damage caused by failure to assess the height of the vehicle and striking overhead or overhanging objects.

  • Car For U Enterprise is not liable to renter or any authorized driver or passenger for loss of or damage to property left in the vehicle either during or after the period of rental unless the loss or damage results from our negligence or breach of the Rental Agreement. Such property is entirely at your own risk.

  •  Renter have to ensure during the rental of the vehicle that the vehicle has sufficient oil, water, correct tire pressure and correct fuel is used when refueling.  


F. LIMITS ON LIABILITIES


Car For U Enterprise shall not be liable to Renter or any third party for any loss or damage arising from the rental. We shall not be liable for any indirect or unforeseeable loss or damages, including loss of profits or loss of opportunity.

 

G. 5 % Government Service TAXES.


A 5% GST on all rental services rendered with effect from 1st January 1998.   This tax is remitted to the Royal Customs and Excise Malaysia.

The taxable rental items will be:      
  • Car Rental Charges
  • Baby Seats
  • Delivery & Collections
  • Car & Driver Services  


H. AUTHORIZED DRIVER, AGE LIMIT & Driving Licence


 The renter and authorized additional driver/s must be minimum 23 years of age and maximum 60 years of age and in possession of a valid driving license (Probation license holders not accepted) recognized in Malaysia with at least one-year driving experience.

All drivers must be named in the Rental Agreement or notified to Car For U Enterprise in writing. Failure to do so will deem the rental vehicle is driven by an unauthorized driver and the insurance, CDR coverage will be considered null and void.


I.  MONTHLY RENTAL


A full month’s rental constitutes 30 days. If a monthly rental is terminated prematurely in the first month, rental will be pro-rated as daily basis.


H. EXTENSION OF RENTAL


Any extension of rental must be arranged at Car For You. Failure to do so may mean the renter/driver is driving the vehicle without insurance.


I.   24 Hour Car Assist


In case of Emergency or vehicle breakdown an assist number is provided.

           

           Car For U Enterprise is not responsible for any charges imposed on our rental vehicle in the event of the rental vehicle is being towed or impounded by any unauthorized party.

 

J.   ENTRY INTO THAILAND / SINGAPORE


All rented vehicles are strictly prohibited from entering into Thailand and Singapore.

K.  PETROL

All cars are supplied with 1/4 tank of premium grade petrol. Cars must be returned with a 1/4 tank of petrol or refilling will be at renter’s expense based on our estimated petrol cost plus 30% Service Charge.

L.  PARKING FEES AND TRAFFIC FINES


These are the responsibilities of the renter and the driver/s.

 

M. Terms of Payment


Car For U Enterprise honors all major credit/charge cards such as Amex, Visa and MasterCard. Invoices are raised immediately upon initiation of rental for Monthly/Long Term rentals.


N. MAINTENANCE SERVICE


All of our cars undergo a stringent maintenance schedule recommended by the manufacturer. 

Car For You Enterprise will contact the user directly to arrange a most convenient time to pick up the car for maintenance service or repair. In the event, the service / repair require more than one working day, a replacement car will be provided. We also strongly recommend the renter to send in the car for our inspection prior to their out-station trip.
